Lawn care in The Blue Mountains

Weekly mowing and property care for escarpment chalets, estate lots and second homes — the properties that take time and get skipped when a crew falls behind.

The Blue Mountains

Escarpment properties punish a crew that's in a hurry.

The lots up here are big, and very little about them is flat. Slopes need to be cut across rather than up and down, trees mean constant turning and trimming, and gravel drives have to be blown clear afterward or you leave stone scattered across the grass. It's slower work than a town lot of the same size, and pricing it honestly is the difference between a crew that lasts the season and one that starts cutting corners in July.

Most of the properties we look after here belong to people who aren't up every weekend. That changes what the job actually is. You're not just buying a cut — you're buying the assurance that someone reliable was on the property, that the grass didn't get away on it, and that if a limb came down in a storm you'd hear about it before you drove up.

Frontages tend to run long out to the road, and that strip is what everyone sees. We cut it properly rather than treating it as an afterthought, because a tidy frontage is what makes a chalet look occupied and cared for even when nobody's home.

Every visit is scheduled and logged, with completion photos you can see from wherever you are. If you own more than one property on the escarpment, each one gets its own schedule and its own invoice line.

Fall cleanups in The Blue Mountains — booking now

Leaves come down over six to eight weeks, so a treed property usually needs two or three passes rather than one. We rake and clear the lawn and beds, mulch what helps the grass, bag and haul the excess, and blow off drives, walks and decks. Garden cleanup — dead annuals out, perennials cut back, beds cleared — is quoted separately.
